Gurgaon, Haryana -- (SBWIRE) -- 10/01/2009 -- The Calling All Innovators Contest developed by the Forum Nokia Developer Community (FNDC) has announced its winners. Uniconvert – the official entry by Diginatives is one of the winners to have secured the Judge’s Choice Award. This application was submitted under the category of Flash applications. The winners were disclosed at the Calling All Innovators Reception at Stuttgart on the event of Nokia World.

As a winner, Diginatives would be given a one – year membership in Forum Nokia Launchpad. All the members would be given an exclusive insight to the entire set of resources and support by Forum Nokia. These have been mainly designed to put the mobile application development on fast track and in turn, raise the business spectrum of a developer in the mobile world.

Also, the company would get a User Experience Evaluation absolutely free for Uniconvert. This evaluation would provide an insight from a user’s perspective of the application. Also, the flows and functions of the application would be tested appropriately. With this, potential changes could be made to enhance the application further for a user’s satiety. The other winners in Flash include Active Chinese, Reuters Slideshow, Little Spender, Woosher, My Dreams etc. “It was a challenge developing this application, enabling us to test our abilities and reach in terms of our innovativeness for the technology of Flash. And the challenge was worth it!” says Mr. Sakalley.

The various categories for contest were Flash, Internet Innovation and Emerging Market and Mobile Necessities. All the submissions were assessed by a panel of judges. The different aspects looked into while judging were Quality and Functionality of the application, creativity and Usability, Innovativeness and Novelty, the Commercial Viability and the Market Potential of the service.

More than 1,700 entries were received from 85 different countries across the world. The competition was organized to invite more applications and solutions to elevate the Nokia mobile usage in day to day situations.
