Review of Callaway Solaire Golf Balls

Colorado Springs, CO -- (SBWIRE) -- 03/15/2013 -- Even with the huge advancement in golf ball technology these days, golf balls for women still seem to be overlooked by even the biggest manufacturers; yet, some are catching on and are realizing how important women are to the game. Nike, Callaway, and Precept headline the market and are coming out with great models every year geared toward helping improve the games of female golfers around the world. Being one of only a few balls promoted for women, the Callaway Solaire could be the best of its kind.

The Solaire offers a softer, more resilient core that is formulated to perform best when struck by women. This technology gives women an efficient, long ball flight that they may have found was hard to achieve with other balls like the Titleist Pro V1. The softness of the Solaire also offers the golfer better feel to help them around greens with their chips and in scoring situations with their wedges.

Another great part of the Solaire is it has a bit of flair to it. Not only does Callaway offer the Solaire in “100% Pure Callaway White,” but also in “High Visibility Pink” for those who like a little bit more style for their game. I think offering two colors is an excellent idea by Callaway.

I believe that a ball like the Solaire is very important for the golf ball industry. Yes, high quality balls come out every year for golfers, but Callaway and other brands should be applauded for coming out with high-quality female-geared golf balls. Female golfers are on the decline and the golf industry as a whole needs help in appealing to them to become prosperous once again. I feel what Callaway is doing with the Solaire is great and hopefully more brands will come out with balls that rival the Solaire’s distance capability, soft feel, and great value (only $20 dollars for a dozen). Throw in a little hot pink for some flair and this ball takes the cake for the best female ball on the market.
