South Conventry, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 08/01/2018 -- This summer, the custom home builders at Rotelle Studio(e) will be joined by famous carpenter and designer Ty Pennington of "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" and "Trading Spaces" fame for a battle of the sheds. The two final designs of this "He vs. She Shed Shindig" will be revealed on Saturday, Sept. 15, during the second annual Studio(e) Dream BIG Custom Home Event.
The "He vs. She Shed Shindig" will pit an all-female design team against an all-male team led by Ty Pennington. Each competitor will use repurposed and reclaimed materials to turn a traditional 12-by-14 foot garden shed into a completely reimagined outdoor living space. In the end, these two amazing backyard getaways will be uniquely his and hers.
Prior to the event, Rotelle will host a local radio promotion and social media campaign to give locals the opportunity to vote for the best shed. Then, during the day of the Studio(e) Dream BIG Custom Home Event, attendees will vote for their favorite. One lucky registered event-goer will win one of these redesigned sheds in a raffle held by this premier home builder near Radnor, PA. The other shed will be auctioned off with proceeds benefiting the services of Ashley Addiction Treatment.
Ty Pennington will offer his design expertise to the men's team, which also includes Rotelle Studio(e) president and owner Peter Rotelle and Senior Project Manager Ken Zimmerman. They will face off against the Rotelle women's team, comprised of Chief Designer Renée Pratt, Chief Architect Heather Ryan, and Design Consultant Emily Wisler.
