A study was conducted at B.N.B hospital to assess the efficacy of Geriforte in young as well as aged patients, who attended the hospital with no specific problems. The trial group was on Geriforte tablets and the control group on identical placebo. Both groups showed improvement in mental acuity. A review of various symptoms in both groups showed that appetite was better in 21 out of 23 cases (91%) in the Geriforte group as compared to 13 out of 24 (54%) in the placebo group.
