The Real Madrid Resort Island will play a central part in setting Ras Al Khaimah as a destination of the future with over 1 million visitors slated to visit the Emirate every year.

 

Dubai, Abu Dhabi -- (SBWIRE) -- 04/02/2012 -- Ras Al Khaimah is the latest destination on the global horizon with Spanish Club Real Madrid announcing their plans to set up a resort island called the Real Madrid Resort Island which will be a 50 hectare ‘sportainment’ destination labeled as the flagship project of AL Marjan Development. The Real Madrid Resort Island will play a central part in setting Ras Al Khaimah as a destination of the future with over 1 million visitors slated to visit the Emirate every year.

On the cards is the launch of specifically designed long term degree & shorter term skills enhancement programmes that would be launched as early as Sep 2012 to get employees Real Madrid Resort Island ready.

Conal Doherty, Manager – Marketing & Admissions at WINC who himself is a hospitality industry trained professional adds ‘the need for world class hospitality programmes has never been more especially for a burgeoning emirate such as Ras Al Khaimah and the Western International College (WINC) would work towards bridging the gap & provide for real time skills enhancement in a structured manner’.
