Champion Racing Driver Scott Tucker Lends Teens a Helping Hand

Madison, WI -- (SBWIRE) -- 04/10/2012 -- Racing car champion Scott Tucker is loaning some help to youngsters by launching a new project for teens to pledge to stay on the right course by avoiding drugs and alcohol. By promising to stay on the right track, teenagers will have the opportunity to drive on a real race track. Teenagers who want to make a difference can lend a helping to other youngsters in their community and go ahead and take Tucker Champion’s Pledge against drugs and alcohol.

Scott Tucker's Champion's Pledge provides youths with the strategies to learn that the secret to living a drug and alcohol-free life is easier with education and knowledge. The idea is that if teenagers can educate themselves they'll be in a position to lend some much needed assistance and help others so they can steer clear of the dangerous effects of drug and alcohol abuse. Scott Tucker is committed to lending youths an opportunity they wouldn’t otherwise have.

By taking the Tucker Champion's Pledge, teenagers can sign up to attend the Performance Driving School courtesy of successful motor racing driver Scott Tucker. The Performance Driving School puts racing fans right in the center of the action, with the opportunity for qualified participants to drive around a real, 1-mile NASCAR speedway at Walt Disney World. The track was constructed in 1995 for the Izod IndyCar Series and is now the exclusive, year-round home of the Performance Driving School. Whizzing around the track in a 600 horse power sports car is as close to finding yourself in a genuine race as it gets! For those who would rather ride shotgun, specialized instructors can whizz teens who have taken the pledge for a three lap ride at up to 120 miles-per-hour.

By taking the Tucker Champion’s Pledge, teens can make a difference in their community and can loan a lending hand to other people who could use a little help.
