Songkran comes at the hottest time of the year in Thailand and Khao Chae is a popular local dish enjoyed during the scorching summer. Comprised of cooked rice in cooled flower-scented water with various condiments, Khao Chae is delicious, refreshing and a scrumptious way to cool off in the heat.
