Dublin, OH -- (SBWIRE) -- 05/03/2012 -- Twenty-five percent of all oral cancer victims are non-smokers, non-drinkers and have no other lifestyle risk factors, according to a study conducted by Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center. The American Cancer Society estimates about 35,000 new cases of oral cavity and oropharyngeal cancer will be diagnosed in the United States each year. An estimated 7,000 people will die of these cancers each year.
