Chevrolet’s newly redesigned 2013 Traverse crossover is specifically engineered with families in mind to deliver a safe and user friendly experience. As this vehicle will go into production later this year, Matthews Hargreaves Chevrolet is eagerly awaiting its arrival in showroom floors. Fresh from the redesign, the new Traverse will feature best in segment cargo space and room for up to eight passengers.

To complement the refined interior, Chevrolet went out of their way to develop an athletic and capable-looking exterior with an extremely expressive front grille. Chrome accents which have been added to the grille and fog lamps to accentuate the new Chevrolet styling cues.

“We have injected a stronger presence into the Traverse exterior by focusing on the details” said GM’s Phillip Zak, the director of exterior design. “The small but important changes give it a more vibrant personality that more closely reflects the lifestyles of the families who rely on the Traverse to get them through their busy lives.”

Also beefed up for the 2013 model is the engine which is now a 3.6-liter V6 with direct injection which pumps 288 horsepower and 270 lb-ft. of torque to the wheels. Towing capacity for the Traverse is expected to plateau at around 5,200 lbs which will be plenty capable for family camping trips or water sports.
