Headline: Broadway Bares XXIII: Happy Endings for Scott Tucker

 

New York, NY -- (SBWIRE) -- 06/11/2012 -- Broadway musical theatre dancer, singer and cabaret performer Scott Tucker is reportedly ready to bare all for a HIV/AIDS benefit show next month according to MusicLoversBlog.com. The music and theatre website recently stated that Georgia native Scott Tucker looks set to bare all for the Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS charity fundraiser.

The music website picked up on a volunteer spotlight article from broadwaycares.org which stated 'Broadway Bares XXIII: Happy Endings' will be held at the Roseland Ballroom on June 17 and will be directed by Lee Wilkins. There will be two shows, one at 9-30pm and the second at midnight. This year marks the 22nd staging of the AIDS benefit show. The series was created by Tony award winning choreographer and director Jerry Mitchell. The previous 21 shows have raised more than $8.6 million for Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS.

The Music blog added that the show will be based around popular fairy tales and will leave little to the imagination. According to the music blog Georgia native Scott Tucker reportedly told broadwaycares.org that he always makes time to volunteer for the fundraising show. He went on to add that "A really good friend passed away from AIDS". I wanted to get involved. I have several friends now who are positive, AIDS touches my life daily." The show takes place at the Roseland Theatre in New York City on June 17 and will feature more than 200 of New York City's finest singers and dancers.
