Holidayers Revive Hepatitis A Vaccine Market
London, England -- (SBWIRE) -- 06/20/2012 -- Tourists represent the biggest at-risk group for contracting hepatitis A, according to new findings released by pharmaceuticals intelligence provider GlobalData.
The new report* indicates that, to combat this, vaccinations are expected to become more common in correlation with an increase in global travel, which is introducing individuals to geographic areas with a higher risk of HAV infection.

HAV is an acute infectious disease of the liver, transmitted person-to-person by the ingestion of contaminated food or water, or through direct contact with an infectious person.
