LeapFrog Enterprises, Inc. (NYSE:LF) shares fell 1.78% to $8.83 after the company on Feb 6, reported a fourth quarter profit of $62.3 million, or 89 cents a share, up from $32.8 million, or 49 cents a share, a year earlier. Net sales grew 16% to $244.7 million, as the top line climbed 11% domestically and 35% internationally. Analysts expected LeapFrog to report a profit of 49 cents on revenue of $225 million. Gross margin widened to 44.7% from 44.5%.

Akamai Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:AKAM) shares dropped 17% to $34.56 after the company yesterday posted fourth-quarter GAAP net income of $68.3 million, or $0.38 per share, compared to GAAP net income of $60.1 million, or $0.33 per share in the year ago quarter. The company generated normalized net income of $98.1 million, or $0.54 per share, in the fourth quarter of 2012. Analysts expected the company to report earnings of $0.50 per share. Revenue for the latest fourth quarter was $377.87 million, up 17 percent from $323.74 million last year, while analysts had a consensus revenue estimate of $381.32 million for the quarter.

TriQuint Semiconductor (NASDAQ:TQNT) shares decreased 11.05% to $4.75 after the company yesterday reported fourth-quarter net loss of $3.8 million or $0.02 per share, compared with net income of $4.3 million or $0.03 per share last year. Adjusted earnings for the quarter were $6 million or $0.04 per share. Revenues for the quarter were $233.6 million, compared with $227 million a year ago. Analysts estimated earnings of $0.02 per share on revenues of $222.81 million for the quarter.
