The operating income rose 27% to $12.0 million. Non-GAAP net adjusted EBITDA increased 20% to $16.5 million. Cash flow from operations was $14.0 million, a 26% increase year-over-year.

Brocade Communications Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:BRCD) declined 1.50% to $5.91 after market trading hours. The company posted first quarter revenue of $588.7 million. The company reported a GAAP loss per share of $(0.05) versus profit of $0.12 per diluted share in first quarter 2012. The Q1 2013 net loss was principally due to a non-cash tax charge. GAAP diluted EPS was $0.21 up from $0.20 in Q1 2012.
