Eight Year Old Sophia from Models Direct Saves the Day for Kickers

Norwich, UK -- (SBWIRE) -- 07/03/2009 -- When popular shoe manufacturer Kickers set out to photograph their new children's range at popular fun park Legoland, they were mostly able to find models from among the friends and family of the Legoland staff.

They weren't able to find all their models this way however – they were missing an eight year old girl. And that's what gave eight year old Sophia her big break to become a model. Sophia's mum Melanie had recently signed her up to become a model with Models Direct, one of the largest modelling agencies in the UK.

Though it was the first step in her modelling career, Sophia fit the bill perfectly. Kickers were very pleased with her work: “Sophia was an excellent model,” they said. “She performed without fuss and hopefully enjoyed the day. In the photographs she really does look amazing and was loved by photographer, stylist and clients - I imagine a bright future ahead for this girl! This was our first time using Models Direct and we are extremely happy with the service provided.”

But the clients weren't the only ones who were thrilled with the results. Melanie was very proud and pleased to see her daughter working as a model. “This was Sophia's first assignment, and everyone was really kind,” said Melanie. “Information was clearly given and I was really impressed about the whole thing.”

“Sophia had to model Kickers shoes and change into different outfits in all different areas of Legoland. Everyone was so nice and the shoes were great too. She loved every minute of it and Models Direct are always helpful. Everyone is so nice and welcoming and made us feel at ease, we had a lovely experience.”

Legoland is one of the best loved children's theme parks in the UK. It's located near London at Windsor, and has over 50 different rides and activities for kids of all ages.
