American Academy of Urgent Care Medicine Joins Alliance for CME

Orlando, FL -- (SBWIRE) -- 03/12/2010 -- The American Academy of Urgent Care Medicine (AAUCM), the leading academic organization for Urgent Care Medicine which is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), has joined the Alliance for CME.

The Alliance for CME is a membership organization that provides professional development opportunities for CME professionals, advocates for CME and the profession, and strives to improve health care outcomes. This mirrors the missions and goals of the AAUCM of bringing change in healthcare provider behavior through innovative educational programs that improve patient care.

The American Academy of Urgent Care Medicine (AAUCM) is a national organization which represents thousands of physicians who practice urgent care medicine in various clinical settings throughout the United States.
