The air curtain of airflow should be position in such a way to cover the full width of product(s). The stream of air must be of sufficient strength (FPM and CFM), and the angle of the air curtain properly adjusted to form an effective barrier.

Air curtain drying systems can decrease the costs of drying by approximately 60-80% versus other drying systems such as thermal drying. There are also advantages such significantly reduced noise levels when compared to electrically powered blowers.

STREAMTEK Florida manufactures two types of Air Curtains (Regular and Advanced). Both available in 12 in stock lengths of 3, 6, 8, 9, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, 42, 48 and 54” long. The Advanced Air Curtain gives the best air amplification ratio of 40:1 and has the lowest operating noise levels.
