New digital publishing method offers self publishing without rejection
Colorado Springs, CO -- (SBWIRE) -- 09/25/2013 -- The Intent to Self Publish Agreement, Dictionary of Self Publishing Terms, and the Book Blueprint are just three of the powerful self-publishing tools being released on Monday September 23, 2012.
These tools are designed to make the self-publishing process simple, and geared for the most professional outcome possible.
Inventor/Author Deborah S. Nelson says: “With the digital publishing revolution, being published is no longer limited to celebrities and scholars. An ordinary individual with something to say—whether in the form of a legacy, photography, a moving life story, business method, how-to-book of a nearly lost art, children’s book, or novel; now they can publish it!”
Nelson is quick to admit self-publishing using digital technology is not easy. “Self-publishing is not for the faint of heart. I have been working in the printing, book publishing and advertising industries for decades. Self-publishing using digital printing is complicated, but I have invented a few tools and guides, to make it doable for the ordinary person.”
Nelson has taught publishing courses using her publishing curriculum for the past three years. These courses normally take 6-8 weeks and her students produce a simple but beautiful work of art in their small 40-page four color books using book publishing software. She also has taught courses which have resulted in her students and clients being published on AMAZON.com.
How do you get started with self-publishing your book? Ms. Nelson says the first step is the Intent to Publish Agreement, “When a traditional publisher accepts a manuscript for publication, the first thing that happens is an agreement is signed.” Ms. Nelson, who invented and wrote The Intent to Self Publish Agreement remarks, “Once you decide to self-publish, make it official. Our high self-publishing success is due to these tools-- the book blueprint, the dictionary of terms and the Intent to Self Publish Agreement.
The Book Blueprint is also a concept and a 3- day course. Students create a model of your book, with an interior in journal style, which lays out the inside components of a book in chronological order. The course teaches how to create a custom book cover, open print on demand account, and upload the book parts to create a published book blueprint. Fill in the table of contents, the chapters, and the rest, and the book is ready for AMAZON.com.
