Singapore -- (SBWIRE) -- 12/04/2012 -- Three pretty ladies huddled in a massive stage against more than a thousand crowd – you would think it’s way to impossible to overpower such an incredible amount of people, but the girls of Perfume conquered the people of Singapore in one night.
It’s the trio’s last leg for the Love the World first world concert tour and they made the perfect performance in Singapore.
They started the concert without any singing at all; just pure dance moves which were powerful enough to wow the crowd.
With the excellent mixture of colorful and creative lights, the girls danced to the beat of the original song from their website.
Hailing from Japan, the language barrier was apparent but Aa-chan, Kashikuya and Nocchi found a way to interact with their fans by letting a female fan translate their gags during an emcee break.
They also managed to split the crowd to do their audience call “Mer-li-on”, a trademark feat that they always do every live performance.
The P.T.A Corner was also a hit, as always, and the girls made sure that fans were able to interact with gusto by emulating the necessary dance steps while they perform.
The lovely and quirky ladies continued through a series of smashing numbers including Electro World and Laser Beam.
Before performing their latest single Spending All My Time, the girls changed into more elaborate outfits – from dazzling white to spectacular UV reactive red dresses.
Spending All My Time is only performed live, so the fans were clearly delighted with the performance.
Dancing and singing with LED panels is a tradition established by Perfume in their past performances, but the girl group made sure that the effect was different this time while performing more popular hits like Chocolate Disco, Dream Fighter and Love the World.
While the girls were supposed to end the concert with their popular song Polyrhythm, the fans managed to get them back on stage to perform an encore.
They performed Spring of Life and Kokoro No Sports with a bang and ended the encore with a humorous number – the theme song from Doraemon.
Perfume hit the perfect ending with MY COLOR, a song which they only performed for fans in Singapore.
The girls made sure that the last leg of the tour was spectacular and true enough, they clearly didn’t disappoint.
