“Oftentimes as human beings we are created with a desire to be love. Unfortunately if we are deprived of the very thing that we were created to have we begin looking for love in all the wrong places.”

Daisy, is a recent graduate of Nyack College where she served for two years as president and founder of the Got Poetry? Slam club. She also travels to various churches performing inspirational poetry to youth and young adults.
“The Diary of an Overcomer” is an autobiography of her life in which she details the horror accounts of enduring sexual, physical and verbal abuse at the very hands of her family members for years. As a result of it she turned to a heavy dependency upon alcohol and marijuana, struggled academically and behaviorally in school, began living a promiscuous lifestyle with women and fell victim to homelessness twice.Nevertheless she found refuge in the church and answered God’s call upon her life, gave up the homosexual lifestyle and drugs and alcohol, graduated from college and beat the odds that were stacked against her. And now is being used as a voice of hope to youth and young adults by inspiring them to become overcomers with the help of God.
“I admire Daisy’s poetry and find her writing thoughtful and inspiring. It’s great that she has written her biography and can’t wait to get my hands on a copy.” Says Roseline J. California This book is getting good response and feedback and FREE excerpt is now available at http://booklocker.com/books/7163.html
