Heart of the Swarm Released in Beta Format
San Francisco, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 09/27/2012 -- Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty was released in 2010. A demo sequel coming up soon entitled Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm has been released in beta format. The beta format is being tested by players who are not under any obligation to release information or screenshots of the game. They are there to help Blizzard, the company behind the Starcraft franchise, to spot and fix any errors or flaws in the game.
Blizzard is not only counting on the testers to release information. It plans to release information by itself as it states, “Additional Heart of the Swarm features will also become available in future phases of the beta test. More details will be announced at a later date.”
Not only will gamers be waiting for the release of this game, they still have a lot to look forward to as the game is just part of a bigger game saga. Gamers will have much to look forward to, since the game is only the second in a series of three games, each dealing with a specific race. The effort is part of the company’s plans to expand on how video games are played, since it released Wings of Liberty in a format referred to as The Arcade.
The Arcade allows players to share content and to track maps and games easier. Gamers still have another sequel to anticipate entitled: Legacy of the Void.
