Chromatin, Inc., and Pacific Ethanol, Inc. on Feb. 19 announced they have entered into a multi-year agreement to produce, deliver and use locally grown sorghum in the production of ethanol. The agreement covers up to 30,000 acres of Chromatin sorghum to be grown over multiple years and supplied to Pacific Ethanol.

Cell Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ:CTIC) shares increased 3.17% to $1.30. The company, on Feb. 28, reported financial results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2012. Total net operating expenses for 2012 were $101.5 million. For the year ended December 31, 2012, CTI reported a net loss of $115.3 million, or ($1.98) per share, compared to a net loss of $121.1 million, or ($3.53) per share, for the year ended December 31, 2011. Net loss for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2012 was $19.0 million or ($0.20) per share, compared to a net loss of $17.9 million, or ($0.47) per share, for the same period in 2011.

Vringo, Inc. (NYSEAMEX:VRNG) shares jumped 5.23% and closed at $3.02 in the last trading session. The company, on Feb. 21, announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Vringo Germany GmbH, extended its patent infringement lawsuit against the ZTE Corp. China, and its German subsidiary, ZTE Deutschland GmbH (ZTE). The pleading, filed in the District Court of Mannheim, alleges infringement of the German part of European Patent 1,186,119.
