BancorpSouth, Inc. (NYSE:BXS) shares jumped 1.86% and closed at $15.30 in the last trading session. At its regular quarterly meeting recently, the Board of Directors of BancorpSouth, Inc., last month, declared a quarterly cash dividend of one cent per common share. The dividend is payable April 1 to shareholders of record at the close of business on March 15. Newcastle Investment Corp. (NYSE:NCT) shares climbed 1.82% and closed at $11.16 after the company yesterday reported fourth quarter of 2012 income of $55.58 million, or $0.32 per share, compared to $19.30 million, or $0.18 per share, in the fourth quarter of 2011. Analysts expected the company to report earnings of $0.28 per share for the quarter. Core earnings for the quarter increased to $32.55 million from $31.99 million in the year ago quarter. However, Core earnings per share declined to $0.19 from $0.30 last year. Net interest income after impairment for the quarter jumped to $60.48 million from $16.72 million in the prior year quarter.

Wyndham Worldwide Corporation (NYSE:WYN) shares increased 1.81% and closed at $60.24 in yesterday’s session. WYN’s stock announced a quarterly dividend yesterday. Shareholders of record on Thursday, March 14th will be paid a dividend of $0.29 per share on Friday, March 29th. This represents a $1.16 annualized dividend and a dividend yield of 1.96%.

Additionally, the company, on Feb. 19, announced the pricing of the public offering of $450 million aggregate principal amount of its senior unsecured notes due March 1, 2018 (the "2018 notes") and $400 million aggregate principal amount of its senior unsecured notes due March 1, 2023 (the "2023 notes"). The senior unsecured notes offering is expected to close on February 22, 2013.

ResMed Inc. (NYSE:RMD) shares increased 1.81% to $44.49. The company, last week, announced that the dividend to be paid on March 19, 2013, to holders of Chess Depositary Instruments (CDIs) trading on the Australian Securities Exchange will be Australian dollar $0.01642 per CDI. The company previously declared a quarterly dividend of US dollar $0.17 per share, which had a record date of February 19, 2013, and will be payable on March 19, 2013. The dividend will be paid in US currency to holders of its common stock trading on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).
