Service revenues for the fourth quarter decreased 4.0% over the prior year quarter to $700.2 million. Total revenue for the fourth quarter declined 1.5% to $756.0 million from $767.4 million a year ago. Additionally, LEAP’s stock was upgraded by investment analysts at Janco Partners from a “buy” rating to a “strong-buy” rating in a note issued to investors on Feb. 1.

Life Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ:LIFE) shares dropped 8.25% to $58.13 after the company yesterday announced a dozen innovative new products for the Ion Torrent(TM) platform that will make sequencing faster, simpler and more accessible for scientists, driving discovery and advancing clinical research around the world.
