The area that the analysts feel has been the company’s primary weakness has been its meager revenue growth.

Ashland Inc. (NYSE:ASH) shares climbed 3.68% and closed at $78.38. The company, on Feb. 26, announced that it has closed its previously announced offering of $600 million aggregate principal amount of 3.000% senior notes due 2016, $700 million aggregate principal amount of 3.875% senior notes due 2018, $650 million aggregate principal amount of 4.750% senior notes due 2022 and $350 million aggregate principal amount of 6.875% senior notes due 2043 (collectively, the Notes). The Notes are unsecured, unsubordinated obligations of Ashland.
