Cheniere Energy, Inc. (NYSEAMEX:LNG) shares climbed 3.92% and closed at $23.58. The company has filed applications with the federal government to add an additional 9 million metric tons of annual gas export capacity at the liquefied natural gas export terminal it is building in Sabine Pass, La., according to filings with federal regulators and an Energy Department spokesman on Mar. 5.

Additionally, the company last month posted fourth quarter net loss of $63.52 million, wider than the prior-year loss of $7.46 million. Adjusted loss was $18.4 million. On a per share basis, loss recorded was $0.06 versus a profit of $0.30 last year. Analysts estimated loss per share of $0.05 for the quarter. Total revenue for the quarter declined to $67.3 million from $70.82 million. Analysts were looking for revenue of $68.30 million.

Heckmann Corporation (NYSE:HEK) shares jumped 3.63% to $3.71 after the company, on Mar. 11, reported a fourth-quarter net income of $4.99 million or $0.03 per share, compared to $2.48 million or $0.02 per share in the year-ago quarter. Revenues for the quarter rose to $113.2 million from $51.7 million in the comparable quarter last year. Analysts expected the company to report a loss of $0.02 per share on revenues of $107.99 million.

Looking forward, the company expects 2013 revenues to be between $750 and $825 million. Analysts currently expect 2013 revenue of $779.81 million.

Diamond Foods, Inc. (NASDAQ:DMND) went down 5.85% to $16.57 after market trading hours. The Company reported second quarter net income of $10.1 million or 43 cents per share versus loss of $20.2 million or 93 cents per share in the prior year period. Revenue declined 16% to $220.8 million. Analysts expected net income of 6 cents per share on $239.2 million in revenue.
