Gafisa SA (ADR) (NYSE:GFA) shares jumped 9.84% to $2.68. The company, on August 9, posted a larger-than-expected second-quarter loss due in part to sales cancellations at its low-cost Tenda unit. The company reported a 14.1 million reais ($6.21 million) net loss, compared with a 1 million real profit a year ago, although its results improved on the 55 million reais net loss from the first quarter of 2013. Analysts predicted an average second-quarter loss of 12.6 million reais.

NQ Mobile Inc (ADR) (NYSE:NQ) shares declined 1.49% to $19.22. The company on August 12 announced its unaudited financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2013. Net revenues increased 107.4% year-over-year to $41.4 million, exceeding the high end of the Company's previous guidance of $38.5 million to $38.8 million. Net income attributable to NQ Mobile decreased 8.3% year-over-year to $1.9 million.
Additionally, the company on July 30 announced that its subsidiary, Beijing Feiliu Jiutian Technology Co. (FL Mobile) a leading social mobile platform in China, has become the game content provider for China Mobile's Game Center. This partnership extends the already strong relationship that exists between NQ Mobile and China Mobile.

Forest Oil Corporation (NYSE:FST) shares gained 0.20% to $5.11. The company on August 6 said it swung to a second-quarter profit on fewer charges, though the company's revenue sank. The company reported a profit of $33.4 million, or 28 cents a share, compared with a year-ago loss of $511.2 million, or $4.44 a share. Adjusted per-share earnings were flat at six cents a share. Revenue declined 14% to $116.8 million. Analysts were expecting earnings of a penny a share on revenue of $120 million.
