The company yesterday reported fourth-quarter net loss of $33 million or $0.24 per share, compared with net income of $269 million or $2.00 per share last year. Analysts expected earnings of $0.43 per share for the quarter. Revenues for the quarter were $646 million, compared with $677 million a year ago. Analysts on consensus estimated revenues of $642.73 million.

Toll Brothers Inc (NYSE:TOL) stock fell 9.05% to $33.56 after the company yesterday reported a first quarter profit of $4.4 million, or three cents a share, versus a loss of $2.8 million, or two cents a share, a year earlier. Revenue rose 32% to $424.6 million. Analysts expected earnings of 10 cents a share on $502 million in revenue.
