The Company posted a net loss from continuing operations of $64 million, which represents a year-over-year increase of $37.2 million. Cereplast Inc (PINK:CERP) shares decreased 12.70% to $0.0275. The company, on Mar. 15, said it earned $37 million, or five cents per share, for the quarter that ended February 28. Last year, Carnival posted a loss of $139 million, or 18 cents per share. Overall revenue rose slightly to $3.59 billion, but analysts had predicted roughly $3.64 billion.

LDK Solar Co., Ltd (ADR) (NYSE:LDK) shares fell 10.56% and closed at $1.27. The company, on Mar. 18, announced that Dr. Liangbao Zhu has resigned from the company for personal reasons effective March 17, 2013. Dr. Zhu joined LDK Solar in 2005 and served as executive vice president and a director of LDK Solar's Board. The resignation of Dr. Zhu does not affect the composition of the Audit, Compensation or Nominating and Corporate Governance Committees of LDK Solar's Board.
