Forest Oil Corporation (NYSE:FST) shares fell 0.35% to $5.62. The company on August 6 said it swung to a second-quarter profit on fewer charges. The company reported a profit of $33.4 million, or 28 cents a share, compared with a year-ago loss of $511.2 million, or $4.44 a share. Adjusted per-share earnings were flat at six cents a share. Revenue declined 14% to $116.8 million. Analysts were expecting earnings of a penny a share on revenue of $120 million.

RadioShack Corporation (NYSE:RSH) shares increased 3.10% to $3.33. The company on August 8 said it opened two new concepts stores in the New York area for a total of three. The company also revealed details of the development of a "low touch" format coming to select neighborhoods nationwide in the coming months.
