Los Angelas, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 02/19/2013 -- Sealed Air Corporation (NYSE:SEE) surged 10.82% or $2.10 to $21.50 after the food packaging company reported net sales in the fourth quarter ending in December rose 1% to $1.98 billion from $1.96 billion in the same period of last year. Net earnings in the quarter swung to $173.6 million or 89 cents a diluted share compared to net loss of $49.2 million or 25 cents a share a year ago.

United Continental Holdings Inc (NYSE:UAL) shares increased 1.93% and closed at $26.37 in yesterday’s session. The company, on Feb. 17, announced that the company has reached tentative agreements on new joint collective bargaining agreements with the International Association of Machinists (IAM) for the fleet service, passenger service and storekeeper workgroups at the United, Continental, Continental Micronesia and MileagePlus subsidiaries. The agreements are subject to ratification by IAM members.

Cimarex Energy Co. (NYSE:XEC) gained 1.2% or 80 cents to $65.75 after the oil and gas exploration and production maker said total revenues in the fourth quarter ending in October increased 3% to $429.8 million from $417.5 million in the same period of last year. Net income in the quarter declined 15% to $99.2 million or $1.14 diluted per share compared to $116.9 million or $1.36 a share a year ago quarter.

Qlik Technologies Inc (NASDAQ:QLIK) shares increased 17.89% to $26.83 in yesterday’s session after the company, on Feb. 14, ssaid its fourth-quarter net income fell to $13.3 million, or 15 cents per share, from $15.6 million, or 18 cents per share, a year earlier. Excluding items, the company earned 25 cents per share. Revenue in the traditionally strong fourth quarter rose about 27 percent to $137.5 million. Analysts had expected adjusted earnings of 23 cents per share on revenue of $126.9 million.
