Weeds has endured as one of television’s most provocative and entertaining series going strong for eight seasons. The dark comedy chronicles the journey of Nancy Botwin (Mary-Louise Parker) from a suburban mother-of-two to a marijuana-dealing widow trying to keep afloat. The show’s creator, Jenji Kohan, has created a hooking premise that pushes the limits and has earned acclaim season after season since its debut in 2005. The 100th episode of Weeds, entitled “God Willing and The Creek Don’t Rise,” was written by Kohan alongside writer Stephen Falk, and directed by Uta Briesewitz.
