South Conventry, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 12/05/2018 -- Rotelle Studio(e) recently auctioned off the H(e) Shed from their recent H(e) vs. Sh(e) Shed Shindig competition, where men and women's teams competed to design outstanding living spaces out of ordinary garden sheds. They raised $11,011 and gave 100% of the auction's proceeds to Ashley Addiction Treatment, an organization that helps individuals to recover from substance use disorder.
The Rotelle men's team designed the H(e) Shed to be the ultimate man cave. These new home builders near Berwyn, PA, transformed a garden shed into an outstanding space with a glass garage door, a faucet made from an antique gas pump, and a back wall that converts into a deck.
Bidding for the H(e) Shed began on Sept. 21 and ended on Oct. 7. The winning bid was placed by Peter Rotelle, the president and owner of Rotelle Studio(e). He intends to install the H(e) Shed on a 45-acre campground along with approximately 50 similar structures. The campground, Simply Rustic, will open in 2019.
On Oct. 22, Rotelle Studio(e) presented Ashley Addiction Treatment with a check for $11,011. This incredible organization, founded in 1983, has worked with 45,000 patients who suffer from substance use disorders. Each Ashley patient receives a personalized program that combines the latest advances in medical, clinical, and psychological care.
Prior to the H(e) Shed charity auction, the Sh(e) Shed was raffled off to local realtor Meredith Jacks. This chic shed, which features a retractable roof, discreet wall storage, and a hammock-like daybed, was voted the winner of the H(e) vs. Sh(e) Shed Shindig.
