Supporting the Ladies cycling league for the third year running, Tollers are eager to aid such a cause, with several female members of their staff keenly partaking in sporting activities. Tollers' managing partner Duncan Nicholson attended the awards ceremony this year, which was held at Gurkha's restaurant in Desborough. The awards ceremony is a social event allowing for the members of the club to celebrate their success as a society and also the success of individuals. This year, a first place award was presented to Sue Rust, who was up against stiff competition from other successful cyclists. Sue had made many personal achievements in her cycling endeavours, such as beating the club's ladies 10 mile and 50 mile records.
The Kettering Cycle Club has a wide membership including children, adults and families who also engage in several events which run throughout the year. These events consist of club runs, road races and time trial events.
The popular cycling club also run a children's club, Kettering Cyclones which teaches children of all ages bike handing techniques, and supports children who are aiming to cycle competitively.
Tollers are delighted to support such a successful addition to the community, and are looking forward to continuing to support such an organisation throughout 2017.
