Lakeway, NY -- (SBWIRE) -- 02/26/2013 -- ThePennyStockProfiler.com, an investment community with a special focus on updating investors with recent news on the U.S. stock market, issues news alert on the following stocks:-

United Therapeutics (UTHR +0.3%) holds on to gains in a weak tape after reporting Q4 earnings that easily beat Street estimates this morning. Revenue increased across all product lines covering both chronic and life-threatening conditions. Gross margins declined to 84% from 87% however, largely due to inventory writedowns. The company reaffirms FY13 guidance bracketing estimates, expecting revenues to fall within a range of 5% above or below $1B. Analysts are looking for revenues of $993.85M.

ONEOK Partners (OKS -4.4%) drops sharply after Credit Suisse downgrades OKS to Neutral and cut its target price to $58 from $67. OKS will have $4B-plus of fee-based projects placed in service over the next three years, but CS says it is a victim of weak natural gas liquids prices and collapsing spreads, undercutting prospects. Distribution growth/unit was cut by 850bp, to 2.8%, for 2013.

Cablevision (CVC +0.3%) files an antitrust lawsuit against Viacom (VIA -0.1%) in which it accuses the company of illegally forcing it to carry 14 lower-rated networks as part of a broader deal. The legal filing claims Viacom's selling methods are anti-consumer and abusive.

A downgrade to Market Perform from FBR is pressuring Atmel (ATML -2.3%) shares. The firm is worried about valuation and soft PC touchscreen controller sales - sales of touch-enabled Windows 8 hardware have underwhelmed thus far, but Microsoft, Intel, and OEMs are committed to growing penetration rates. Rival Cypress (CY +2.4%), which just announced its controllers are used in the 2013 Toyota Avalon, is heading in the opposite direction. Update: FBR is also worried about a transition to cheaper, single-chip, PC touch controller solutions, and Atmel's lack of an in-cell controller.
