OpenTable Inc (NASDAQ:OPEN) shares declined 2.36% and closed at $49.31 in the last trading session. The company yesterday reported fourth-quarter net income of $7.5 million, or $0.32 per share, up from $7.0 million, or $0.29 per share in the same quarter last year. Non-GAAP consolidated net income was $10.7 million, or $0.46 per share, up from $8.9 million, or $0.37 per share in the prior year quarter. Analysts expected the company to report earnings of $0.43 per share for the quarter. News Corp (NASDAQ:NWSA) shares fell 2.34% to $27.56. The company, on Jan. 6, said it earned $2.38 billion, or $1.01 a share, last quarter, compared with a profit of $1.06 billion, or 42 cents a share, a year earlier. Adjusted earnings were 44 cents a share, compared with 39 cents a share a year earlier and topping estimates from analysts by a penny. Revenue rose 5% to $9.43 billion, besting the Street’s view of $9.28 billion.
