Other optional features include adaptive cruise control blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, rear parking sensors, and a driver's seat with haptic-feedback.
GMC has given the 2020 Canyon a Driver Alert Package, giving the vehicle forward-collision warning and lane-departure warning. It also has Tire Fill Alert, which gives audio and visual indications when a tire has been filled to its optimal level of pressure.
The new Sierra has a new 3.0-liter turbodiesel inline-6, and a carbon fiber truck bed that was formerly exclusive to the AT4 and Denali trims is now standard. The Sierra HD has been overhauled further, and now has a stronger frame and a 10-speed automatic transmission. It can now tow more than 30,000 pounds, with help from its 6.6-liter Duramax diesel, giving 445 horsepower and 910 pound-feet of torque. Towing is safer with the Sierra HD, thanks to its "Transparent Trailer" mode, which uses sensors to give the driver a view of the blond spot behind the trailer.
The Acadia has the most visible changes, with a redesigned, more rugged front and rear. It now has standard LEd headlights and a new 2.0-liter turbocharged I4 offering 258 pound-feet of torque and 230 horsepower. The new nine-speed automatic transmission now has buttons instead of a shift lever. Inside, it has the most recent incarnation of GMC's infotainment system.
