Craig Stevenson, global brand president and chief operating officer, will leave Quiksilver on Oct. 31, the company said in documents filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

Additionally, the company, last month, announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Andy Mooney as President and Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Quiksilver`s co-founder Bob McKnight, who has been named Executive Chairman. Mooney will also join the Quiksilver Board of Directors. All of these changes will become effective January 11, 2013.

The New York Times Company (NYSE:NYT) shares gained 3.15% to $9.18. Reuters reported, on Feb. 22, that New York Times Co is putting The Boston Globe on the auction block for a second time as it seeks to focuses solely on growing its flagship newspaper, the Company said.

The sale, which will also include the Worcester Telegram & Gazette, is expected to come at a big loss as newspapers struggle for subscribers and advertisers in the digital age. The Company said in a statement that it had hired Evercore Partners to advise on the sale.

Cincinnati Bell Inc. (NYSE:CBB) shares jumped 0.95% and closed at $4.25. The company will host a conference call on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at 8:30 a.m. (ET) to discuss its financial results for the fourth quarter and full year 2012, which will be issued before the market opens that day.

Additionally, the company announced its participation in the Raymond James 34th Annual Institutional Investors Conference on Monday, March 4, 2013 at 2:15 p.m. Eastern Time. Ted Torbeck, president and chief executive officer of Cincinnati Bell Inc., will be presenting at the conference.
