Oakland Gardens, NY -- (SBWire) -- 06/12/2015 --The future upcoming Los Angeles mayoral candidate Frantz Pierre, is pleased to announce the second part of his drought relief plan. Earlier last month, Pierre announced an innovative proposal which includes:

Build a Desalination Plant That Uses 100% Renewable Energy and Nanotechnology.
Worker-Owned, Managed and Operated Seawater Desalination Plant
Build a Worker-Owned, Managed and Operated Bottled Water Plant
Extract Fresh Groundwater Located Under the Ocean Floor

The second part to the drought relief plan focuses on three key parts including:

Greywater
Water Cisterns
Green infrastructure

Greywater is the wastewater from baths, showers, and sink. A greywater recycling system would offer several major benefits such as preserving water, reducing sewage flows, and saving power. Frantz Pierre plans to encourage apartment and commercial buildings to install greywater systems. He also wishes to encourage the use of water cisterns which are containers used for storing liquids. They are able to harvest rainwater and provide an eco-friendly alternative to other water systems. Frantz Pierres' drought relief plan also relies on the implementation of green infrastructure. He hopes to make Los Angeles a healthier city, with more vegetation, cleaner air, and lower temperatures.

"We can learn a lot from places like Singapore when it comes to green infrastructure." said Frantz Pierre. "As mayor, I will launch an aggressive and bold campaign to help make Los Angeles the world's leader in innovation and the center for green infrastructure."
