Copper mine or metal content in the ore production reached an estimated 32,600 metric tons (t), 113,400t of lead metal content and 806,800t of zinc metal content in 2013. The base metals are mainly found in states of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand and Andhra Pradesh.
