Boo at the Zoo Event Returns to Elmwood Park Zoo This October

Norristown, PA -- (SBWire) -- 10/06/2016 --There's no tricks, only treats at Elmwood Park Zoo's annual Boo at the Zoo Halloween celebration. Boo at the Zoo takes place weekends, from 12 PM to 3 PM, beginning Saturday, October 8 and ending Sunday, October 30. Boo at the Zoo is presented by Einstein Medical Center Montgomery.

Those looking for fun Halloween things to do in Bucks County, PA this October are encouraged to turn to Elmwood Park Zoo. This month-long Halloween party includes trick-or-treat stations, costume contests, parades, education stations, live musical performances and live animal shows.

Live animal shows are scheduled for every Saturday and Sunday at 2:30 PM in the ZooBowl Theater. The Franklin Institute will hold a live program on Sunday, October 16 at 1 PM on the Eagles Deck. For the full schedule of programs and performances, please visit epzevents.com.

The carnival games that were a part of the zoo's Harvest Fest celebrations from the past few years will be a part of this year's Boo at the Zoo activities.

Guests will also have opportunities to hand-feed the zoo's giraffes and bison at their regularly scheduled feeding times. Other events that are taking place at this zoo located near Philadelphia, such as Fire Smart currently scheduled for October 15, will occur in conjunction with Boo at the Zoo.
