Dr. Steven R. Schwartz is a graduate of New York University College of Dentistry and completed his post graduate training in General Practice Dentistry from NY Hospital Queens, General Anesthesia from Bellevue and Manhattan VA Medical Centers, and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from Woodhull Medical and Mental Health Center.
Dr. Schwartz is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and a Fellow of: American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and active member of numerous professional organizations including: Academy of Osseointegration, American Dental Association, NY State Dental Association and several local dental organizations.
Dr. Schwartz is the owner of NY Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, PC where he practices the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with emphasis on dental implants (including bone grafts and sinus lifts), dental extractions (both simple and complex), and pathology of the maxillofacial region. Additionally, he is the Director of Surgical Implantology in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department of Dentistry at Woodhull Medical and Mental Health Center where has been teaching implant surgery, bone grafting and ambulatory anesthesia for the past 27 years.
