Los Angeles, CA -- (SBWire) -- 03/01/2016 --It is a common trend in the moviemaking fraternity to tell a story from the hero's point of view. With his upcoming movie Dark Specter 2, Bruce Nachsin is looking to go against this approach of storytelling. Continuing on the themes of the original short, Dark Specter 2 delves deeper into the funny yet sad challenges that a super-powered villain must overcome in his pursuit to rule the world. Bruce claims that this film is ideally suited for the audience that likes smart, off-kilter, action-packed, anti-hero sagas.

Dark Specter is an award-winning comedy short created by Bruce Nachsin, inspired by a presentation he wrote for Fred Willard's sketch comedy group, The MoHos. This short has already been exhibited successfully at some leading film festivals.

Talking about his new project, Bruce says, "Superhero films and shorts usually fall into either fan films or parodies, and I wanted to do something a little different. My original short brought up questions about the lives of these characters: What it would mean to actually live a life where you could melt through steel walls? I'm sure you wouldn't use a microwave either; Dark Specter 2 will explore some of these ideas. Combined with the original short, this will be the basis of a series pitch."

Bruce also mentions that Dark Specter 2 will be a larger production compared to the original with much higher expenses. He recently started a Kickstarter campaign to raise $5,000 for this project.

Proceeds from this campaign will pay for:

- Shooting permit.
- Production insurance.
- Prop rentals, costumes, and crew.
- Camera and light rentals.
- Craft services.
- Port-a-potty rentals & washing station.
- Rental for chairs, tables and popup tents for the location.
- Cleanup services.
- Additional indoor shoot day.

This project will only be funded if at least $5,000 is pledged by March 18, 2016.
