Dayton, OH -- (SBWire) -- 08/12/2019 --West Carrollton resident Carlos Scarpero has joined Michigan-based Ross Mortgage Corporation as a loan officer and a VA Mortgage Specialist. He has helped to open a Ross satellite office at 513 Windsor Park Drive, Suite C, in Centerville, which is Ross Mortgage's first Ohio office.
Among Scarpero's new activities is involvement in the Military Mortgage Boot Camp, a monthly seminar designed to teach real estate agents to present a VA offer that sellers will accept. The Boot Camp's co-founder, Michael Fischer, is also the Centerville office branch manager.
Scarpero explains that their goal is to overcome misconceptions about VA loans. As part of that process, they have lunch-and-learn and CE classes for Realtors, and home buyer classes for veterans. "The VA process is not difficult, but it is different than what most Realtors are used to," he said.
