Goody Tickets Supports Trees Atlanta

Goody Tickets donates tickets to Trees Atlanta's Root Ball Silent Auction.

Overland Park, KS -- (SBWire) -- 05/31/2016 --The Trees Atlanta non-profit organization received a donation and support from Goody Tickets for the 2015 Trees Atlanta Root Ball. The 2nd annual Root Ball event was held to celebrate the 30th year of Trees Atlanta and featured a Tree Champion Awards Ceremony. At the event, a preview of new education programming was presented as well as the opening of the Trees Atlanta TreeHouse education center and other announcements covering upcoming tree planting projects.

The 2016 Trees Atlanta Root Ball was recently held on May 12 at the Stave Room at American Spirit Works and was the largest event Trees Atlanta has hosted. The event highlighted the growth of Trees Atlanta's education programming and the experiences which adults and children are able to have with access to the newly opened TreeHouse community space.

Donations from Goody Tickets and other supporters benefit Trees Atlanta's education, planting and conservation programs. The goal of Trees Atlanta continues to be to replace trees lost, conserve trees existing, protect areas with green space and education the community about the benefit of trees. The work of Trees Atlanta has helped rebound the Atlanta Central Business District which was previously lacking in trees, more than 113,000 trees have been planted in the Atlanta Metro area to date.
