Woburn, MA -- (SBWire) -- 07/15/2014 --Green Status Pro’s Conflict Minerals automated reporting system now supports CMRT 3.01. Green Status Pro’s web-based service is the first to process version 3.01 plus all version 2.0 templates, digitally validating and reporting supplier and supply-chain smelter information, as required by the SEC rules.

SEC Filers report their suppliers are providing updated 2014 Conflict Minerals information using both versions 2 and 3 CMRTs. There are significant differences between CMRT Versions 2 and 3. These include the complete change of smelter identification numbers, additional questions in the declaration and additional information on the smelter lists. In addition, CMRT 3.01 is fully compatible with IPC 1755, the Conflict Minerals Data Exchange Standard. Only Green Status Pro automates the validation, organization and reporting of this data from all versions to a standard that will pass an independent auditor's due diligence tests.

“Responsible Sourcing of components containing 3TG is a source of competitive advantage, with both investor and customer groups particularly impacted,” according to Rob Kasameyer, president of Green Status Pro. “Compliance Officers learned with the 2013 filing of Form SD that they cannot efficiently manage their Conflict Minerals Reporting program with manual methods dependent upon spreadsheets.”

“Enterprises are managing their supply chains more effectively with the insights they have gained from their Conflict Minerals Program,” commented Peter S. Kastner, Research Director at Scott-Page. “Green Status Pro’s Conflict Minerals reports provide the added benefit of increasing the transparency of an enterprise’s supply chain and allowing senior executives to make better risk-based decisions.”
