Louisville, KY -- (SBWire) -- 04/07/2014 --"Eden” is a short film about a 21st century explorer, a young man who sets out to search for the unknown in a world that is already known. He journeys into one of the remaining bastions of nature, filled with hopes of wonderment, seeking to experience an unspoiled paradise – an Eden. The film, featuring several beautiful locations never before captured on film, is a soulful adventure, with a lot of heart, weaving metaphors that plumb the thoughts, dreams, and disappointments of 21st century man.

The film aims to explore the zeitgeist of times, exploring the innate human nature to search and search until discovering all, to ask question after question until they are all answered. Though this is an age when it seems that people are left with nothing to discover, and no questions left to ask, this film is about a man who keeps asking anyway. At heart, it’s about the explorer in every human being.

Tristan Erwin likes to think of film as a visual storytelling medium. It has been seen that the stories or poems that have lasted through the ages offer a lesson or an insight into life or the age in which they were written. This kind of depth in the world of film is usually found only in feature films these days, which is why creating a short film with such depth is a relatively unheard of thing. This along with the unique subjects touched upon will make "Eden" a stand out film.

Tristan plans on sending the film to the 2015 Cannes Film Festival in France, whether or not it is accepted the film will be sent to as many film festivals as possible throughout the world.

The funding target of $3,000 will be spent on
- Camera & Equipment Rental Fees
- Travel & Gas
- Insurance Policy
- Location Fees
- Film Festival Fees

This project will only be funded if at least $3,000 is pledged by Sat, Apr 19 2014 1:37 AM +05:30.
