As an ongoing effort to deliver a broad range of financial products and services, Lead Bank has hired several new team members, including a new Vice President of Treasury Services, a Senior Vice President and an Assistant Vice President-Universal Banker.

Leading the Treasury Services department is Peter McVey, the newly appointed Vice President of Treasury Management Services. Peter is an Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) and has more than 13 years experience in the banking industry, specifically cash management. In addition, he has led the development of the national electronic payments processing guidelines through his involvement with NACHA, the National Automated Clearing House Association and with the Midwest Regional Payments Association, EPCOR, Electronic Payments Core of Knowledge. Peter will consult with Lead Bank’s clients to maximize their use of technologically advanced treasury services such as remote deposit capture, direct deposit of payroll, positive pay, merchant services including card processing as well as online banking. “All of these treasury services are just additional ways that Lead Bank helps small businesses manage their cash more effectively. We seek to understand the business owner’s short-term and long-term business goals and then work with each client to create a customized cash management plan tailored to their business needs. Rick Weeda, Senior Vice President, has more than thirty years with experience with commercial banking, real estate, residential and commercial construction lending, equipment and operating loans, financial acquisitions of existing businesses and startups of new businesses as well as experience with USDA and SBA guaranteed business loans. Each of these areas of expertise will add another dimension to the services Lead Bank can provide allowing us to reach a broader scope of clients. Rounding out the Lead Bank team is Elaine Banks, Assistant Vice President-Universal Banker. Elaine is a highly knowledgeable and experienced, cross-trained banking employee of more than 13 years.

She’s experienced in all areas of the branch from personal accounts and transactions, to identifying sales opportunities, recommending small-business services or can talk about wealth management lending. Elaine is responsible for creating and managing the “experience” for clients and prospects and is capable of performing multiple banking tasks.
