Miami, FL -- (SBWire) -- 07/14/2014 --Green cards for foreign nationals fall under the EB-5 classification, and the United States government limits eb-5 visas to only 10,000 each year. The government established this visa classification as part of the Immigration Act of 1990, and it is designed to make it easier for foreign investors to become permanent residents of the country. To obtain this type of visa, one needs to meet certain requirements. "When one finds he or she needs assistance in obtaining one or more of these visas, Rahbaran & Associates can be of help," Brian Zirulnikoff of Rahbaran & Associates declares.

Many choose the EB-5 program over the L-1 and E-2 visa options as those who participate in the Immigrant Investor program won't be required to re-apply or renew the visa. With this option, the investor obtains permanent resident status and a green card rather than the non-immigrant status offered to those who come into the country though the E-2 program. Those choosing the E-2 option find their visa will never lead to permanent residency. "In addition, E-2 visas come with time limits, and the visa holder must remit additional filings to the Department of State or USCIS. As immigration laws frequently change, one never knows when their visa may not be renewed," Zirulnikoff explains.

The L-1 visa program offers the option of the visa holder requesting classification as either a Multinational Executive or Manager. Thanks to fraudulent activity on the part of previous applicants which led to the review process become tighter, many find it hard to receive this type of visa, which leads to a non-immigrant classification. According to Zirulnikoff, some do choose to apply using the L-1 visa program, however, as it may lead to permanent resident status.

An EB-5 visa remains the preferred choice of many as it offers investors the flexibility and opportunity to live and work in the United States using a variety of means. Any person can apply for this visa if they are willing to make the necessary investment. "Those who don't want to be actively involved in business management can choose to invest in a regional center, and citizens from most countries can apply. Contact Rahbaran & Associates today to discuss your desire to relocate to the United States. We will be more than happy to review your situation and determine if the EB-5 visa program is the right choice for you or if another program would provide a better fit," Zirulnikoff states.
