Manhattan Beach, CA -- (SBWire) -- 01/30/2018 --Reality Interactive Gaming (R.I.G.) is a game changer for the entertainment and marketing industries. R.I.G. engages consumers by exploiting multimedia and smart phone technology. Today consumers want multi-platforms engagement but only what they want when they want it and without advertising. Advertising partnerships are carefully selected to fit the format and appeal to a specific audience. Branding and marketing campaigns are developed in sync with the storyline not as standalone advertising.

The technology is not new; it's being reformatted and used more efficiently to give the consumer what they want. Actor, Director, Kevin Spacey (House of Cards), explains the shift in the industry and how the power of choice needs to be in the consumer's hands. R.I.G. technology is being developed by interactive marketing specialist and growth hacker, Jody Sigmund. The technology incorporates all multimedia platforms for a truly engaging experience. R.I.G. also pulls the player from behind their game interface and creates real world scenarios. Sigmund is in development with transmedia specialist, Evette Vargas on a new franchise called Dark Prophet. The franchise includes a television and web series, feature films, digital comic series, multi-platform gaming, smart phone apps, push notification and GPS.

The storyline is immersed in the real world allowing fans/gamers to interact outside the game. Text messages will provide coordinates or clues to undisclosed locations. Snapping a photo of a product or any image will uncover clues that unlock game hints, cash, gifts or even help with real world causes. The gaming platform combines push notification, GPS, Bluetooth and more. R.I.G. offers tangible solutions for the entire entertainment industry including music artists, advertisers and will even help address social issues. "We reach the consumer where they live and play. Products, artists and causes will be immersed within the storyline as well as tied in directly at the retail level," says Sigmund.

R.I.G. also addresses another issue. Internet and gaming have become so addictive they're being considered epidemic in some countries. Japan's ministry of education is urging the government to help. "It's becoming more and more of a problem," Akifumi Sekine, a spokesman for the ministry, told The Daily Telegraph. "We estimate this affects around 518,000 children at middle and high schools across Japan, but that figure is rising. R.I.G. technology and franchises like Dark Prophet may be just the solution.
