Noida, Uttar Pradesh -- (SBWire) -- 07/28/2011 --While many people are still busy updating the iOS 4.3.4 security patch on their Apple devices, the iPhone maker has now released yet another security patch, named as the iOS 4.3.5.

The new security patch was released by Apple right after 10 days of releasing the previous patch. It deals with the problem that allows unauthorised access to an attacker while the certificate validation happens over the SSL/TLS protected data session.

Notably, Apple was quite late in reverting with the PDF security patch, which was discovered by external agencies. But this time Apple has on their own found out the vulnerability. The intensity of the issue can only be gauged by the level of quickness Apple has shown in releasing a patch to counter the issue.

With this update, Apple has fixed the issue of unauthorised access by further strengthening the data validation. Apple has also released a supporting document explaining the possible reasons for installing this patch.

The security patch for iOS is applicable to all Apple devices including iPhone, iPad and both third and fourth generation iPods. Users can update this on their device by simply plugging their device on to the computer while running iTunes.
